American readers might not realize that we celebrate Thanksgiving on a different day in Canada. Readers from elsewhere in the world might be saying “Are you serious, Canada gets ANOTHER bank holiday?” This is our Thanksgiving, we have today, the second Monday in November, off. Our big thing is to have a traditional turkey dinner sometime over the three day weekend. We have no national shopping holiday – we just co-opt Black Friday as if it were our own.
So, to all the Canucks out there – Happy Thanksgiving. To everyone else, take a minute and think about your motorcycle. Give thanks for it. And then go ride on it!
